The question isn't who's playing CMA Music Fest, but rather who's not playing? The summer music extravaganza boasts a long lineup of some of the biggest names in country, and it just got even bigger as today (May 3) the CMA confirms to The Boot the addition of Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town.

CMA Music Fest 2012 takes place June 7 - 10 in downtown Nashville, filling the city's area known as 'lower Broadway' with daily shows, autograph signings and activities for the whole family. The four nights of multi-artist concerts at LP Field, where the Tennessee Titans play, will include sets by Miranda, Little Big Town and previously-announced performers Jason Aldean, Glen Campbell, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Zac Brown Band, the Band Perry, Brantley Gilbert, Ronnie Milsap, Jake Owen, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Hunter Hayes, Faith Hill, Kenny Rogers, Dierks Bentley, Alan Jackson, the Mavericks, Martina McBride, Scotty McCreery and Rascal Flatts. (See the schedule below.)

Tapped to sing the national anthem before the LP Field shows are Sarah Darling, the Nashville School of the Arts Madrigal Singers (under the director of Walter Bitner), the Oak Ridge Boys, and Julie Roberts.

Tickets are already on sale through Ticketmaster or CMAfest.com, or by calling 1-800-CMA-FEST (262-3378). You can buy individual tickets to the nightly shows or a four-day pass that gets you in to all official CMA Music Fest activities and events. Click here for more information, including a full schedule and the different levels of ticket prices.

Half of the net proceeds from CMA Music Fest will go to a great cause: the Keep the Music Playing program, which provides instruments and other supplies to public schools that couldn't otherwise afford them. To date, the CMA has donated more than $6.1 million to the program. Part of the event's proceeds will also go to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's Words and Music Program, which helps fund youth songwriting classes.

Highlights from CMA Music Fest will be filmed for an ABC television special to air later in the summer.
