Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green Duet in the Works?

If you follow Blake Shelton on Twitter, then you've likely seen the fodder between he and fellow "Voice" coach Christina Aguilera regarding the possibility of a duet together. But it's actually another "Voice" star, Cee Lo Green, who has got the ball rolling in that court.

"I have a song for Blake Shelton that I gave to him," Cee Lo reveals to the Associated Press. "And I'd like to do it alongside him. I'd like for it to be a duet."

It turns out, Cee Lo has plans to make beautiful music with all of his fellow stars on the hit NBC show. He recently recorded "Make the World Move" with Christina, and has been in discussions with Maroon 5's Adam Levine for a collaboration, as well. He also tells the AP that he's not opposed to a quartet, either.

"Why not, man? Why not? Everybody's talented," Cee Lo says. "Everybody's available and highly enthusiastic. I think everybody would be up for it, because it's a great idea."

Since Blake is so gung-ho to work with Christina, whom he calls one of the "greatest vocalists of all time," it's doubtful he'd turn down the opportunity to work with all three of his fellow coaches.

"That's an understatement to say that I'm 'open' to singing a duet with Christina Aguilera," Blake tells Stereotude, "more like I would pay her, I would beg her, I'll wash her car, I'll clean her house, babysit her kid ..."

Until then, all four can be seen tonight (May 7) on the final round of "The Voice." The face-off between Tony Lucca, Chris Mann, Jermaine Paul and Juliet Simms takes place at 8:00 PM ET on NBC. The season two winner of "The Voice" will be announced tomorrow (May 8) at 9:00 PM ET.

I think it would be a great duet. I loved the way he sang Soul Man with Jermaine. I think he should do the duet with Christina as well. I think Blake, Christina and Cee Lo are the best on the show.

Blake can sing with anyone and it sounds fantastic although I am curious to hear what a duet with Cee Lo would sound like. I bet it would be terriffic.
