Moms in Music: Happy Mother's Day to Country's Supermoms!

Getty Images

"She's somebody's hero / A hero to her baby with a skinned up knee / A little kiss is all she needs / The keeper of the Cheerios / The voice that brings Snow White to life / Bedtime stories every night / And that smile lets her know / She's somebody's hero" - Jamie O'Neal, "Somebody's Hero"

A fitting song for today, the day we celebrate the women who gave us life. To celebrate Mother's Day, The Boot presents this gallery of some of country music's supermoms - the lovely ladies who somehow balance their busy lives as recording artists with being a mother. And no matter how busy their tour schedule or demanding their jobs are, they always, always put kids first.

I have alot of respect for Faith Hill who left when she was at the top to stay home and be a mother for her kids. She is one of the most beautiful, talented and sweetest people. Someone that I knew had cancer and wanted to meet her and she came and sang for them different hymns and some of her songs. She is a class act. She should put out a gospel album. She can do anything! I wish they would play her more than the other artists. Martina seems like a fantastic mother too and she has the voice of an angel.
