"I slapped my guitar player in the belly," Craig told The Boot. "He was losing weight, and he had a bit of a gut. He's always had a bit of a gut. He was making fun of me saying, 'You don't have one of these,' and he filmed it without me knowing it. We actually put that in the show, that was Season 1. So in Season 2, I asked him, 'How's that belly looking?' He lifted up his shirt and man, I put a hand print on his belly! Quite humorous."
While we're not sure whether or not his guitar player retaliates in season 3, we do know that it includes surfing in Hawaii. Also, Craig takes a mixed group of accomplished and first-time hunters on a turkey expedition in his hometown of Dickson, Tenn.
This season, which comes after two wins at this year's Outdoor Channel's Golden Moose Awards, also marks the move to 11:00 PM ET on Sundays, premiering July 1.
Craig hits the road again May 25, with his first stop in Middlebourne, W. V. Get a full list of his concert dates here.
