"It's an honor to get that call," Toby says about being asked to host the show (quote via People). "Country music makes me happy," adds Kristen, who is looking forward to meeting not only her co-host, but her "country crush," Miranda Lambert.
In addition to emceeing, Toby's "Red Solo Cup" is nominated in two categories: Video of the Year and Male Video.
Also taking the stage for the CMT Music Awards will be performers Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band and Little Big Town.
