"As far as 'bucket list' things, I don't know!" he laughed, before launching into a list of his more science fiction-themed career highlights. "I went to the 'Battlestar Galactica' set ... I know Captain Kirk (William Shatner). I've met George Lucas and filmed a video at Skywalker Ranch ('When I Get Where I'm Going'). So maybe 'Avatar'? Paint myself blue? I don't know!"
Little did Brad know, he was about to score another huge honor for his resume. The press conference was interrupted by Country Music Association CEO Steve Moore for a special presentation honoring the music superstar with the CMA's International Achievement Award.
"Since the year 2000, he has been playing and performing all over the world -- Canada, Europe, Japan ..." Steve said of Brad before presenting him with a globe-shaped trophy. "Last year, he played the new arena in London and went on to play three sold-out shows across Ireland, and onto Scandinavia to over 40,000 fans."
The CMA International Achievement Award is given each year to an American artist who helps boost the country genre's global popularity. Past recipients include Taylor Swift, Brooks & Dunn, Dierks Bentley and Dwight Yoakam.
