Miranda Lambert: Eric Church 'Feud' Wasn't Really a Feud

jpistudios.com/AP

Miranda Lambert wasted no time in expressing her anger towards Eric Church, after he famously disparaged artists who participate in reality TV talent shows in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine. The former "Nashville Star" finalist, who is married to "The Voice" coach Blake Shelton, said Eric should be "groveling" over his comments, and while she hasn't received an official apology, she insists she holds no hard feelings, and even has a bit of empathy for the "Springsteen" singer.

"I think that anybody can get roped into a really bad interview situation and I've had things printed about me that sounded way worse than they were," Miranda tells Yahoo! Music. "I know he said what he said but it died off just like anything else that happens. Everybody loves to call it a feud. It's not really a feud, it's just, 'Dude, you totally messed up and you know it,' and you move on."

Immediately after the interview went viral, Miranda took to her Twitter account to share her feelings about the remarks made by her fellow country star, who served as an opening act on her Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars tour two years ago. "Thanks Eric Church for saying I'm not a real artist," the songstress tweeted. "Or @kelly_clarkson, @carrieunderwood & @KeithUrban. [You're] welcome for the tour in 2010."

Miranda has more important things to worry about than hard feelings. She will continue her On Fire tour over the summer, as well as work on a new album with her all-girl group, Pistol Annies. "My albums consume my life; they drive my career," the "Over You" singer tells The Boot. "The thing I live for is making albums, and that's what makes everything else happen in my life."

The On Fire tour, which also includes Pistol Annies, Jerrod Niemann, Lee Brice and Thomas Rhett, will head to Ohio, Missouri and Louisiana in the coming months. See a complete list of dates here.
