"I can't wait to tour in Australia again, new music, new show, I know we're gonna have a blast!" Keith enthuses. "Really looking forward to playing to a rowdy summer crowd!"
The singer-songwriter, who divides his time between the U.S. and Australia, is especially thrilled with the tour's first stop. "Being such a Queenslander at heart, I'm stoked we can start the Australian tour in Brisbane, I reckon it's gonna go off," he shares on his Facebook page. "Can't wait to tour again, see you in January Brissy!!"
The husband of actress Nicole Kidman (and proud dad of two little girls) is also working on a new album, which he says will be more personal than his previous CDs. "My intention for the record is to start exploring the stories in my own life," he tells Nashville's Tennessean. "There's plenty of them, and I've been through a lot of things and there's a lot more of that exploration that's happening already. I think it is taking shape a little bit. It feels like it's the first one."
Tickets for Keith's Australian tour go on sale Monday, June 25. Members of his Monkeyville fan club can purchase the tickets starting tomorrow (June 20). Become a Monkeyville member here, or click here to purchase tickets.
