Carrie Underwood performed to a sold-out crowd at London's Royal Albert Hall last Thursday (June 21), in what was her first headlining show in the UK. The country superstar dazzled with hits old and new, from her debut single "Jesus, Take the Wheel" to new songs from her latest, chart-topping album, Blown Away. She even threw in a gorgeous cover of Coldplay's "Fix You." (Watch the performance below.)
"I wanted to basically pay homage," she told MTV.co.uk when asked why she chose the British rockers' tune for her set. "It was kind of a respect thing and I know that there are so many amazing artists here [in the UK]."
Carrie's Blown Away tour is now in Australia, ending next week with two shows in Sydney.
