RaeLynn Record Deal: 'The Voice' Star Signs With Republic Nashville

She's not going to be the fourth Pistol Annie after all, but there's even better news for RaeLynn. The 18-year-old singer audiences grew to love on Season 2 of "The Voice" has signed a record deal with Republic Nashville.

The blond beauty, who grew up on a farm in Baytown, Texas, was part of Team Blake (Shelton) before being eliminated in the "battle rounds." RaeLynn was the only country singer to make it to the Top 12, securing her spot on the show by putting her own unique spin on songs including Jason Aldean's "She's Country," Pistol Annies' "Hell on Heels" and Maroon 5's "Wake Up Call." She's now busy writing her own songs for her debut album. The teen star has already co-penned two songs with new pal Miranda Lambert, but there's no word yet on whether those tunes will make it on the project.

Republic Nashville is also home to Martina McBride, the Band Perry, Eli Young Band, Sunny Sweeney and Greg Bates. RaeLynn will perform with some of her new labelmates on July 29 at the Crown Royal Presents the "Your Hero's Name Here" 400, at the Brickyard Powered by BigMachineRecords.com.

If you don't like her, don't listen to her..simple as that. But I doubt you have half the talent she does when you open that mouth of yours.

RaeLynn wasn't eliminated in the Battle Rounds. She won the Battle Rounds. She was eliminated in the Top 12's Second Chance rounds.

Her country twang is just there to mask the fact that she can't sing. How she made it so far into the competition is beyond me.

Alright RaeLynn. Good for you. Once she got booted from the show, and what a surprise that was considering it was Blake who booted her, I lost all interest in THE VOICE this season. I'm glad she got a record deal though. I was looking for her at the CMA's and came up with a brainstorm. If three old bags can get together and form a group like The Pistol Annies and get all kinds of success and recognition... what kind of a red hot group could three little hotties like RaeLynn, Lauren Alaina and Skyler Laine form??????? Now that would be a bunch of little **** kickers I would love to see.

Chris Mann did release an EP if i'm not wrong. Titled "Chris Mann". you can check it out!

and Jermaine did release a song. can't remember the name though.

RaeLynn won her battle round. She was on the live shows for a few weeks. Second article today that was not accurate from The Boot Staff. Maybe people should check facts before again writing incorrectly.

Great News for RaeLynn. Loved the song she wrote w/ Miranda "Lie" that she sang at CMA Fest during Miranda's fanclub party this year.
