The 6th annual ACM Honors award recipients include artists, songwriters, musicians and other industry personnel who will be acknowledged for their outstanding achievements during a ceremony in September.

Kenny Chesney will receive the Crystal Milestone Award for his career concert sales of more than 10 million tickets from his 11 national tours. Alan Jackson, who has earned platinum sales in Norway and toured extensively through Europe, Australia and Canada, will be presented with the Jim Reeves International Award. Additionally, Vince Gill will take home the Career Achievement Award, while Ricky Skaggs, Emmylou Harris, Billy Sherrill and Dwight Yoakam will each be honored with the Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award for their trailblazing efforts for country music.

The Poet's Award goes to songwriter Bobby Braddock and, posthumously, Roger Miller. Tunesmith Dallas Davidson, whose recent credits include Lady Antebellum's "Just a Kiss" and "We Owned the Night," will be crowned Songwriter of the Year.

Other recipients of special honors include Frank Liddell, husband of Lee Ann Womack, who is 2012's Producer of the Year, Justin Niebank for Audio Engineer of the Year and Paul Franklin as Steel Guitar Player of the Year.

Presenters and performers for the ceremony will be announced at a later date. See a complete list of award recipients here.

The 6th annual ACM Honors will be held on Sept. 24 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. Tickets go on sale Aug. 17 and may be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or at the Ryman box office.
