Blake Shelton's Twitter Often 'Too Much' for Miranda

Blake Shelton's Twitter feed is currently filled with congratulatory notes, thanks to the Emmy nomination (for Outstanding Reality -- Competition Performance) announced today (July 19) for "The Voice," which stars the singer as one of the celebrity coaches. But while Blake boasts more than 1.7 million followers, thanks in part to his frequent (and sometimes outrageous) tweets, his wife, Miranda Lambert, isn't always one of them.

"I unfollow Blake quite frequently," Miranda admits to Us Weekly magazine. "Some days it is just too much."

The "Fastest Girl in Town" singer adds that she uses the social-media site to keep tabs on her spouse. "If I'm going to check up on someone, it is definitely Blake," she notes. "I like to see who he is following: they are all hot girls. I check his direct messages."

The couple may spar over Blake's Twitter account, but they can also come together for a worthwhile cause. The country superstars are vying for a VH1 Do Something Award (in the Couple category), in recognition of their altruistic endeavors, including a benefit concert in Oklahoma, which raised $70,000 for a veteran's program and animal shelter in Tishomingo.

Mr. and Mrs. Shelton are both spending much of the next few months on the road. Miranda is scheduled to return to her On Fire tour on July 26 in Verona, N.Y., after taking some time away for vocal rest, under doctor's orders. Blake will head to Iowa tomorrow night (July 20), followed by stops in Wisconsin and North Dakota. See Miranda's schedule here, or click here to see Blake's.

Gag me with a wooden spoon. These people need to get over themselves. She knew what she was getting into when she married him. They're both asking for trouble by getting involved with these things called Twitter and Facebook. I give this marriage about two years-then it's SPLITSVILLE for these Country Whackadoos!

Whether she was kidding or not, I wouldn't be surprised if Miranda doesn't trust Blake. Going by his behavior and comments, he doesn't sound like a one woman man. She's no saint either, so I guess they deserve each other.

Wow -People need to back off Miranda! I actually saw this interview video of her saying this answer and it was done in a joking manner. I love how all of these "new" articles come from CMA Fest in June.

Since you managed to break up his first marriage, I'd be a little worried too Miranda. What comes around and all. The whole cutie pie couple, country music's royalty gig has to come back to reality at some point, eh? Husband stealers come in all types of shapes and sizes.....sometimes in the form of 21 year old Twitter ho, fastest gal in town types. Sure you can get a song out of it though....and you are just such a squishy, loveable, cutie patootie aren't ya?
