In a statement issued Monday (Aug. 13), Kristin said, "It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to 'The Good Wife' at this time. Getting better slowly and thank you everyone for your concern."
Kristin, who appears in the show's fourth-season premiere on Sept. 30, was expected to appear in several episodes as a political reporter, according to the Los Angeles Times." A frequent poster to her popular Twitter page, Kristin was absent from the site from July 11, the day the incident occurred, until July 24, when she tweeted: "To all my fans: thank you for support and love! Doin better everyday. More to come when I'm able!"
In addition to her TV, film and stage work, of course, Kristin launched her country-music career with Some Lessons Learned, the album she released in the summer of 2011. Prior to "The Good Wife," she had a starring role in the now-cancelled ABC series, "GCB" was cancelled by ABC. She assured a fan via Twitter: "I love 'The Good Wife' and will be back when i can."
