Friends, fellow musicians and fans have come together to throw a benefit concert for Chris this Thursday, Aug. 16 at Nashville's 3rd and Lindsley. Angelic-voiced country songstress Emily West joins the "Nashville Takes on the Blues" lineup, which also includes Jeremy Lister, Matthew Perryman Jones, Mark Huff, Thad Cockrell, Erin McCarley, Jason Eskridge, Jill Andrews, Betsy Ulmer, Maile Misajon and more.
Doors open Thursday at 7:00 PM CT, with the show starting at 8:00 PM. Organizers are asking for a minimum donation of $10, which you can pay at the door or online here. In addition to all of the great music, there will be auction items up for bid, including concert tickets, restaurant gift certificates and autographed memorabilia.
Chris, a father of two, is battling Stage III melanoma, the most dangerous type of skin cancer. He was diagnosed just one week before the band's debut album was released.
