"We just want to have a little fun in the fall, and I think what's cool about the Farm Tour is when we continue to go to places like Claxton (Georgia) and Valdosta (Georgia)," says the Georgia-born superstar. "These things are a big event for these towns, and I love the fact that people can come out and have a big time, listen to some music. It's a fun experience all the way around. I want to continue to do what I can to keep it rockin'."
In the same spirit as Willie Nelson's annual FarmAid, Luke started his Farm Tour as a way to give back to local farming communities. Proceeds from the trek will go to a scholarship for a lucky student from a farming family.
Luke's travel plans for 2013 include another headlining tour. The "Drunk on You" singer says he's being very hands-on in the creative decisions for the upcoming trek, trying to make it a unique experience for fans.
Luke Bryan's Farm Tour 2012:
October 3 - Claxton (Statesboro), GA
October 4 - Clemson, SC
October 5 - Auburn, AL
October 6 - Valdosta, GA
October 10 - Villa Rica, GA
October 11 - Colbert (Athens), GA
October 12 - Tallahassee, FL
October 13 - Macon, GA
