For their part, the foursome has recorded an exclusive video of the original song "Here's Hope" in the style of their popular "Scattered, Smothered and Covered" web series, which has featured the group harmonizing on hits by Bruno Mars, Adele and more. The video will premiere on the ConAgra Foods Facebook page in September, accompanied by exclusive content and the chance to participate in a Q&A session with the band.
Earlier this year, during the ACM Awards "Lifting Lives" segment, Little Big Town performed a touching version of "Here's Hope," which was written by Hunter Hayes, Luke Laird and Barry Dean.
"It is such a privilege to partner with our friends at ConAgra Foods and participate in the great work they are doing every day to end child hunger," says Little Big Town's Phillip Sweet. "Having gone through difficulties with my own family and growing up in a single-parent household with five siblings, I've had first-hand experience with not knowing sometimes where our next meal was coming from. We had to be creative and work together as a team and a family to make ends meet. We could not have done it without the help of friends and our community. Our children should never have to wonder where their next meal is coming from, and with the passionate work and generosity of everyone involved with ConAgra Foods and this endeavor, hopefully child hunger will one day be a thing of the past."
Little Big Town fans are anxiously awaiting the Sept. 11 release of the group's fifth album, Tornado. The lead single, "Pontoon" is currently nearing the top of the charts.
