Tim McGraw's HomeFront Program Made 'Indelible Mark'

The end of Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney's Brothers of the Sun tour this past weekend also marked the conclusion of Tim's HomeFront program. The summer-long campaign to award mortgage-free homes to veterans in need at each tour stop came to a close in Boston. Through the program, the country star, who has a long history of supporting veterans and military families, was able to meet each family and hear their inspiring personal stories as they walked side by side with him to the stage at each show.

"Each family had touching stories and made an indelible mark on me," Tim says. "From the Delucia family's amazing story of recovery and strength through physical injuries the first night in Tampa to the Connor family, who we surprised this past weekend at their new home with a puppy for their daughter Molly (who is pictured above with the singer) ... I will never forget any of them. The need to take care of the men and women who fight and sacrifice so much for us is great, and this program is only making a dent. I definitely hope to do more down the road."

Tim launched HomeFront in partnership with Chase, ACM Lifting Lives and the non-profit Operation Homefront. ACM Lifting Lives has donated $125,000 to the initiative, allowing families to purchase what they need for their new home. Tim and his wife, Faith Hill are getting ready for their limited engagement at the Venetian in Las Vegas. "Soul2Soul at the Venetian" marks the first time in six years that they've performed together in the US. The concert series begins Dec. 7 and runs for 10 weekends through April 2013.
