"We have had the pleasure of working with T.J.Martell for many, many years and it's our great privilege to be invited to be part of the Honors Gala to celebrate all of the 2012 Honorees and their contributions for such a worthy cause," LBT member Karen Fairchild says.
Russell Simmons, Del Bryant, Edward Walson and Randy Jackson will all be honored during the evening. The night's events also include a cocktail reception, dinner, awards ceremony and silent auction. The 37th Annual Honors Gala will be held on October 23 at Ciprianis in New York City. Tickets are still available and can be purchased here.
The charitable event comes one month after the release of their highly-anticipated album, Tornado, which will hit shelves on September 11. The upcoming CD the quartet say will be unlike anything they have released in the past, thanks in part to their producer, Jay Joyce.
"I am so excited for people to hear this new record," bandmate Jimi Westbrook notes. "Jay really pushed us to be in the moment. There was such an amazing energy between all of us in the studio and I think you can feel it."
Little Big Town, which also includes fellow members Kimberly Schlapman and Phillip Sweet, are currently on the road with Rascal Flatts on their Changed tour, along with fellow opening acts Edens Edge and the Eli Young Band. See their concert schedule here.
