Easton Corbin's 'All Over the Road' Scores No. 2 Chart Debut

Little Big Town's Tornado proved too powerful for a trio of country acts who made their Billboard Top Country Albums chart debut this week. The quartet's album remains atop the chart, with Easton Corbin's All Over the Road, Dwight Yoakam's 3 Pears and Hillbilly Jedi from Big & Rich coming in at Nos. 2, 3 and 4, respectively, in their first week of release.

Easton's album, however, managed a debut that's two spots higher than the No. 4 peak of his self-titled debut in 2010. Dwight's No. 3 debut gave him his highest-charting album since the 1989 compilation, Just Lookin' for a Hit (also No. 3) and the No. 1 berth for Buenas Noches From a Lonely Room in 1988. The first new Big & Rich album since 2007's No. 1 Between Raising Hell and Amazing Grace also managed a No. 25 debut on the multi-genre Billboard 200.

On the country singles front, Taylor Swift's "We Are Never, Ever Getting Back Together" remains at No. 1 on the Top Country Digital Tracks chart, with Hunter Hayes' "Wanted" at No. 2, Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away" at 3, Little Big Town's "Pontoon" at 4 and Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise" at No. 5.

Randy Houser's 2008 single, "Anything Goes," has roared back on to the chart at No. 25, with 15,000 downloads registered this week, thanks, presumably, to a performance from "X Factor" hopeful Tate Stevens. The top debut for a new single this week, meanwhile is Kacey Musgraves' "Merry Go 'Round."

Thus far in 2012, Lionel Richie's Tuskegee remains the top-selling country album, while Carrie's Blown Away is quickly closing in at No. 2. But the next few weeks will be crucial as albums from Jason Aldean (Night Train), Taylor Swift (Red) and Toby Keith (Hope on the Rocks) are among those set for release.
