"We're really looking forward to this show," says lead guitarist Michael Britt. "Just about everyone knows someone affected by cancer and this has to stop! We're happy 94.9 Star Country has asked us to be a part of their efforts and do our part for a better, healthier tomorrow."
The radio station, which has previously hosted Little Big Town, Jake Owen, Clay Walker and others for the benefit, is thrilled to have Lonestar headline the event. "It's as if they never left," program director Brett Sharp notes. "Lonestar's fan base is as ravenous as ever. With them as our headliner, we sold out the Pajama Jam in less than one hour. Nine hundred screaming, pajama clad ladies can't be wrong. Thank you Lonestar for helping the American Cancer Society, for helping us spread the word about getting mammograms, and for being such a great partner with 94.9 Star Country."
Lonestar will be joined by Randy Houser and The Farm for the sold-out concert. The show will kick off a series of concerts for the band, as they juggle time on the road with putting the finishing touches on their new album, scheduled for release in early 2013.
