Sammy Kershaw Christmas Album Decks the Halls With Country and Cajun Flair

For Sammy Kershaw, Christmas comes before Halloween. On Oct. 22, the country legend will release A Sammy Klaus Christmas, a 10-song collection of holiday standards including "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," "Silent Night" and "Let It Snow Let It Snow Let It Snow." There are also two spoken tracks, as Sammy reads the classic tale of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" -- once in its traditional version and once with a Cajun flair, paying homage to his Louisiana heritage. "I wanted to make a fun sing-along Christmas album that people of all generations would be happy to listen to and children would enjoy," Sammy explains. "I also wanted the songs to take older people back to the memories and sounds of Christmas when we were kids, and I believe the guys and I were able to pull that off with this collection of great songs!"
