"Making music for our fans is the best job in the world," Miranda says. "It's especially great being able to take to that music on the road with someone I respect as an artist and human being. This will be a tour of 'epic badassery.' [laughs]"
"Some of my favorite times on tour over the years were with Miranda and her crew," Dierks adds. "We have a lot in common musically and our fans do too. It's going to be a killer year."
Specific dates are pending, but the tourmates have released a list of cities on the tour (see below.)
This is the first time Miranda and Dierks have partnered to co-headline a tour. Their trek's moniker comes from Dierks' 2006-2007 Locked and Loaded trek, which featured Miranda and the Randy Rogers Band as opening acts. Longtime friends, the two have performed together at several festivals and also in the recording studio on "Bad Angel," a collaboration between the tourmates and Jamey Johnson for Dierks' Up on the Ridge album.
