"I'm sharing so much with so many people that it's kind of cool to have secrets," she tells The Boot. "I just always get to know that no matter how many details are addressed in the song or how many dots are connected by people, or dots people think they're connecting, I always have that."
Since Taylor won't tell, we've chosen a few tunes that we'd like to know your theories on. Take a look at each song's lyrical hints below and vote for whom you think the tracks are about.
"We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"
I'm really gonna miss you picking fights / And me, falling for a screaming that I'm right / And you, will hide away and find your peace of mind with some indie record that's much cooler than mine
Don't stop at the "indie record" line and immediately assume it's John Mayer. The indie rock-loving Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted in Nashville after his breakup with Taylor ... possibly trying to get back together? Or this could even be someone the singer-songwriter was able to keep away from the press.
"Begin Again"
He didn't like it when I wore high heels / But I do / Turn the lock and put my headphones on / He always said he didn't get this song / But I do, I do
Taylor is 5'11". It wouldn't take more than a kitten heel to make her taller than the six-foot Jake. She'd have to wear her tallest Choos to meet John's 6'3" height. As for her rumored new beau, Conor Kennedy, he looks to be a good head taller than his famous squeeze.
"All Too Well"
I walked through the door with you / It was cold, but something 'bout it felt like home somehow and I / Left my scarf there at your sister's house / And you still got it in your drawer even now
This one may have just been handed to us on a platter. It also mentions "Autumn leaves" and "getting lost upstate." Taylor and Jake dated in the fall of 2010 and were spotted going on an apple picking date in upstate New York. She spent Thanksgiving with him at his sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal's house. And the line about the "kid with glasses"? This picture seals the deal for us. But you decide!
"Treacherous"

If any of Taylor's famous flames is romantic quicksand, it's probably John Mayer ... at least the pre-hiatus John. Plus there's the mention of "gravity" -- the title of one of the biggest songs of his career. Then again, the flame in this song may not even be famous.
"Holy Ground"
I was reminiscing just the other day / While having coffee all alone / And Lord, it took me away / Back to a first glance feeling on New York time / Back when you fit my poems like a perfect rhyme
Jake is New York-based, but don't jump to conclusions too fast. She is "reminiscing" and could be reflecting back several years to another Big Apple-dwelling BF, Joe Jonas. Plus her memories of the ex in this song are happy, and we're pretty sure she's not so happy with Jake!
