"It is a tease because I can't really say anything about it until he, the man, is able to announce this tour," Lee told The Boot and other reporters at a recent media event. "We've been on a tour last year, we were able to do the Throwdown tour and went out with Luke [Bryan], and been doing a lot of shows with Miranda [Lambert] and some folks this year. But it's so cool to know that we're going to be on a pretty major tour next year. There's so many good things that come out of that. We're excited. I wish I could tell you all about it, but I can't. I might get in trouble. As soon as they announce it, we'll announce it. It's going to be fun though. I know that."
In addition to the tour, Lee is making other plans for next year and beyond.
"I'm going to start working on my next record in January because I don't want to have to rush doing it," the singer-songwriter reveals. "It's going to be one thing I really want, to start working on my new record. As of right now, it might be called 'I Don't Dance.' We've got a new song, and I think it could be a perfect album title for the new record. So we'll start working on that, and do these tours. Sometimes I maybe reach too far, but my goal is after I get off this tour next year, at the end of next October, by 2014, I want to be able to go do arenas. That's my goal now. If I get to that, I don't know, but that's how I've always lived my life. Really shooting high, so in a year, after 2014, I'd love to play in my own arenas."
For now, Lee can be found performing several solo shows for the remainder of the year, including stops in Florida, Texas and Louisiana. See his complete concert schedule here and stay tuned to The Boot for news about next year's highly-anticipated trek.
