Band member Tom Gossin says of the song that he co-wrote with friends Stephanie Bentley and James Slater, "It's about having someone's memory there, but they're not quite there." According to People, Tom could easily relate to that feeling of missing an ex and says the video is meant to represent the 10 years of break-ups and make-ups he experienced with his fiancée Jaime, whom he plans to marry next October. "My career broke us up," the singer tells the mag. "Long distance was tough. [But] it turned out for the better."
Gloriana filmed the "Can't Shake You" video at Silverado's a bar in Nashville, which resembles the bar in Wilmington, N.C., where Tom first met Jaime.
Next up for the band is the American Country Awards on Dec. 1, where they're nominated for three awards.
