"Christmas Comin' Round Again" is one of two original holiday songs on the "American Idol" winner's new holiday album, which also includes such standards as "Winter Wonderland," "Jingle Bells" and "Let It Snow." The project was recorded back in the summer, when temperatures were close to 100 degrees in Nashville. Yet Scotty -- with the help of two special ladies -- found ways to get in the holiday spirit. "We did the Christmas lights all over my music stand when I was recording," the singer tells The Boot. "Mom brought some hats for everybody and then my tour manager made us all Christmas cupcakes and Christmas cookies ... It was 'ho, ho, ho' all over there."
