LeAnn Rimes, Brandi Glanville Twitter Tension Reignited, Model Accuses Singer of Eating Disorder

Just when we thought the bad blood between LeAnn Rimes and Brandi Glanville had subsided, their Twitter feud heats up again. Ever since Rimes' extramarital affair with the model's then-husband, Eddie Cibrian, was exposed, the two women have been in an intermittent online war. The drama now centers around Glanville's two sons with Cibrian, who is, of course, now Rimes' husband. The boys' mother is accusing their stepmother of overstepping her bounds and of providing a dangerous home environment for 9-year-old Mason and 5-year-old Jake.

What first ticked off the model-turned-reality star this time around was the singer's use of the term "my boys" to refer to her stepsons. "Flying out with my boys in a few hrs. Love that it's a family tour weekend. It's always more fun when they are with me," Rimes tweeted over the weekend.

Though that may seem like a well-intentioned message, the boys' mother is convinced that it was crafted simply to upset her. "Someone is trying 2 [sic] get under my skin by calling MY children "her boys" Sooo [sic] transparent! They R [sic] MY boys, Eddie Boys and ur [sic] step-sons... 4 now," Glanville tweeted in response.

This latest Twitter feud has sparked a whole cycle of conversation about stepparents and their role, as many have voiced support for both sides. Rimes has retweeted several comments posted in her favor, but refrains from addressing Glanville directly.

The singer's husband, however, was forced to address his ex-wife's rants after an explosive interview in Us Weekly. Glanville told the magazine that Rimes "has a severe eating disorder" -- something that has actually turned dangerous for her son, she claims.

"She has [a laxative] in every purse. Mason found one on the floor and thought it was a Skittle!" Glanville told the magazine, saying that her son got extremely sick from accidentally eating one of his stepmom's laxatives. "I, unfortunately, don't find her to be stable and I don't want her around my kids when Eddie's not there -- or at least the nanny, his parents, someone."

Glanville goes on to blast the singer for also allowing her son to ride a bicycle without a helmet, even posting a video of the ride for fans. While Cibrian does not address the laxative or bicycle controversies, he does stick up for his wife.

"LeAnn, continues to be a loving and positive influence on the lives of my sons," he tells Us Weekly. "They are without a doubt lucky to have her. The love they have for their 'bonus mom' continues to grow each day as we navigate the changes to our family; a fact that Brandi cannot argue as she herself has stated as much. If my ex-wife truly cared about the welfare of our sons, she would stop the constant bashing on an important person in their lives and focus on productive co-parenting to make our blended family the strongest it can be. And she would do so privately."

Glanville refutes that her calls and emails to Rimes and Cibrian go unreturned, and thus she is forced to communicate through the media and social networks.

One could argue that having to spend time with LeAnn is abusive.

Its a shame that Leann behaves like this. She is a very talented woman. She should use her talent to help others instead of lying, cheating and annoying people with her constant complaining about how she didn't have a childhood and she wasn't taught right from wrong. Its should be just in you to know not to sleep with a married man and talk about his children with the other woman. Her stint in rehab was fake too. You don't leave to do concerts and stuff. You stay there to get the help you need.

Thank goodness The Boot reports such pertinent music news as Rimes' obsession with laxatives, but then again, her bowel movements and career are both destined for the same place.

Jake and Mason's mother should just be glad that her boys are not treated like trash the way that they very well could have been! I have an aunt who was put through a living Hell thanks to her step mother and what made things worse for my aunt is that her step mom was the ONLY mother that my aunt ever knew!

God bless you and my aunt and Jake and Mason always!

Holly in East Tennessee.

P.S. Maybe its a good thing that my aunt now has Alzheimer's Disease because now she can't remember how much abuse she had to endure before getting married at the young age of 14. (trying not to cry).
