The elementary school shooting in Newtown, Conn., Friday (Dec. 14) that left 27 people dead, 20 of them young children, has shocked the entire nation. It was the second worst mass shooting in U.S. history, just behind 2007's massacre at Virginia Tech. While families grieve and police try to put together the pieces of this tragic puzzle, people have taken to social media outlets to send messages of support to the victims and their families. Gun Control, bah humbug. I sleep with gun next to me for years and it has not shot me. When I put it my hand it will do nothing till I decide to "squeeze" the trigger.
What is the cure for these shootings; criminal control. Execution is legal and it is a prescribed usage against crime in the Bible. Criminals get way too much leniency because of corrupt Judges. Buy a judge or proscecuting attorney and go free or a sentence that would make a parking ticket seem extreme.
The allowance of extreme games to be played by one or more people (children) is a source of dumbing down of the senses.
Go back to having classes in school on usage of weapons and have shooting teams. Back in the day there was such in our schools and then came the ACLU the most dangerous entity in the USA. Tolerance of crime only breeds crime. It is not the law abiding citizen with a weapon that is dangerous, but a person that is unstable or has a criminal record of violence with intent is too be separated from weapons. How do we do that, make them pay a price for their violence. Do not keep the innocent from defending themselves from the terror the ACLU has unleashed upon our society.

Sorrow for the victims and their families, yes it is sorrowful and my prayers are for their healing of grief and loss. Forgive the perpetrator and clear your conscience but hold them to penalty according to their crime and make the penalty stick. Life and a day would be the least of sentences.

To Rob and Kyle,
Your responce to this tragedy is troubling.
Cannot entertainers have feelings and express those feeelings and offer condolences? Cannot they be heartbroken as the majority of caring people are?
While we pray for all the people who loved ones today we ought to pray for you as well.
