Singers in Movies: Country Stars on the Silver Screen

When country singers choose songs, they often find ones that tell great stories, even if those stories don't parallel the narrator's own life. Think about it. Reba McEntire never shot her brother's cheating wife, like she sings about in "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia," Faith Hill doesn't sit around pondering "The Secret of Life" with a couple of guys at the Starlight Bar and Tim McGraw isn't an "Indian Outlaw." But they sure can deliver those stories with conviction. So, it's only natural that they would take it a step further and use their whole being to tell stories. To honor these multitalented stars, we've compiled a list of country singers who also wear a thespian hat.
