"Everyone who has heard the album, this is always the song they bring up," Jerrod says of the track, which he co-wrote with Lee Brice and Jon Stone. "We didn't put any harmonies on it and used my original tracking vocal. 'Lover, Lover' (his 2010 breakthrough single) had a bunch of harmony parts, so I thought it'd be a nice change to have zero here, especially with the French horns and the other orchestral things we have going on."
While we wait to see which lucky lady he'll cast in the "Only God Can Love You More" music video, Jerrod has released a lyric video for the song. Watch it below.
