Sheryl Crow, Lance Armstrong: Singer Speaks Out on Ex-Fiancé's Doping Confession

Sheryl Crow is speaking out on her ex-fiancé Lance Armstrong's recent doping controversy. The hot Hollywood couple split back in 2006 after dating for three years -- just as her cycling beau reached the height of fame.

Crow tells Entertainment Tonight, "I think that honesty is always the best bet and that the truth will set you free."

The singer says she only saw "bits and pieces" of Armstrong's interview with Oprah Winfrey. She adds: "To carry around a weight like that would be devastating in the long run."

The cycling king has been stripped of his Olympic and Tour de France medals since a USADA investigation found "overwhelming" evidence of Armstrong using performance-enhancing drugs.

Many people are wondering if Crow, who was very close to Armstrong at the time of his alleged doping, knew about the drugs. According to Celebuzz, Crow was "in the room" when Armstrong told teammate Frankie Andreu to cover up his doping use. Why would Sheryl have any comment at this point??? It is not her mission to add her 2cent on the issue, Sheryl need to pray and thank almight God for curing her and Lnce for that matter of cancer and allow Lance to deal with his own down falls.
Sheryl you have both moved one with your lives and I;m sure you wouldn't want Lance to air any of your "Issues".......................

Sheryl Crow is full of it too, not nearly as bad as Lance, but full of it all the same. What this video clip doesn't show is that after the clip wrapped Nancy O'Dell said that Sheryl refused to answer what, if anything, she knew about Lance's affairs. So for all her blabbering on about how honesty is the best policy, secrets eat you up insde, and the truth will set you free...then she refuses to be honest about it. The story title is very misleading, Sheryl didn't "Open Up", she took advantage of her ex being caught up in a high profile story to promote her appearances on "The Voice".
