The two hitmakers join previously-announced artists (and frequent All for the Hall performers) Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris for the evening, which will be held at the Big Apple's Best Buy Theater. The stage will be set up as a guitar pull, with each singer taking turns performing. The night will also include several special guests, as well as a cocktail reception, silent auction and dinner.
Jason's appearance at the event comes only a few days after he kicks off his Night Train tour, which has several stadium shows in the schedule, including two sold out shows at Boston's Fenway park. But while a trek of that magnitude might seem a big daunting, the Georgia native is taking it all in stride.
"I like the challenge of doing something I'm not really used to doing, because you start to get complacent sometimes when you're the playing same thing over and over and over," he explains to The Boot. "Playing a stadium is a big adrenaline boost for me and I dig it. It keeps me on my toes and makes me revamp everything I'm doing and not get stagnant with how I approach every show, which is something I like."
The All for the Hall concert series, which began in 2007, has since been staged, alternately, in New York, Los Angeles and Nashville. VIP tickets for the upcoming NYC event are on sale now, while general tickets will go on sale on Feb. 2. Click here for more ticket information.
