ACM Awards Nominees 2013

John Peets

Eric Church leads the 2013 ACM Awards nominees with seven nods, including Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year, for his platinum-selling, critically-acclaimed Chief. Hunter Hayes is just behind with six nominations, followed by Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift with five apiece.

Up for the night's biggest honor, Entertainer of the Year, are Miranda, Taylor, Jason Aldean, and both of the show's co-hosts, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan. Both the Entertainer and New Artist of the Year categories will be decided by you: the fans. Engaged couple Brantley Gilbert and Jana Kramer are up for the latter honor, along with Florida Georgia Line. Fan voting begins March 25 at VoteACM.com. How is "Uncaged" not up for album of the year? It won a Grammy for best country album of the year.

For anyone who wants to say anything about Kacey Musgraves go ahead but she will be around when Jana Kramer is a (WHO?)

She is quite the talented songwriter (see Mama's Broken Heart) and Merry Go Round is about the only true country song in the top 20 (for all you SWIFT haters). Country ain't Country anymore not sure why everyone puts all the blame on SWIFT

Yes it will be the Blake and Miranda show.Let em both have em all. They have become so overrated and over expoused, soon we will never hear about them again. They have become like Taylor Swift with their main fan range being from 12 -18..Blake will always be remembered for comments blasting traditional fans.

It's the Blake & Miranda show yet again! Poolstar said Carrie was THEE top country female touring artist & yet AGAIN gets snubbed so Miranda can get all the glory thanks to their record label Sony. Congrats to Taylor for her POP music for her EOTY win.

Why is RED nominated for AOTY when she is only releasing songs to pop radio? I thought these were country awards!!! What about Chris Young, Darius Rucker, Casey James, & Kellie Pickler? These are some great artists that get completely ignored. And no Kenny Chesney for EOTY????? This awards are a joke!

How can they ignore Tim and Faith, the Rascal Flatts and Kenny? They are the ones with the big tours especially Kenny. I hope Blake and Miranda win again because there is no one else that I like.

How did "Blown Away" get snubbed for Single Record, Song, and Video? It's just as deserving if not more deserving of a nomination (and a win!) as the others in each category. Hopefully the CMT and CMA Awards will look different.
