Brad Paisley Is 11 for 11

Brad PaisleyBrad Paisley has scored his eleventh straight No. 1 single with 'Welcome to the Future.'

"This is a song that is my hopes and dreams, captured in three generations," Brad tells Sirius/XM radio. "You have my grandfather's generation mentioned in the second verse, which fought World War II. He went to the Philippines to fight the Japanese in some of the most horrific times. If you were to go back in time and tell him, 'Your grandson is going to play Japan on tour ... twice,' he would have thought you were out of your mind.

"Fast forward to my generation, our idea of fighting was fighting for a place in line to play Pac-Man. The greatest attraction in my hometown was the Pac-Man game at the Kroger," Brad continues. "And tell me one of these days I'm going to have a thing called an iPhone that has Pac-Man on it and I can play it any time I want!

Taylor Swift Breaks Record, After Record, After Record ...

She's the biggest-selling artist of any genre in 2009, and now Taylor Swift has an even bigger record to report. One hundred times bigger, in fact. According to Billboard, the country superstar has the longest charting album of this entire century.

Taylor's self-titled debut CD, released in October of 2006, has been on Billboard's Top 200 albums chart for 157 weeks -- more weeks than any other album, beating the record previously held by Nickelback. Taylor also stakes claim to the Billboard record for most Top 10 debuts in a year, and she's the only solo female artist in Billboard history to have five Top 10 singles from a debut album. Additionally, she's the record-holder for the longest-charting female country star in the Nielsen SoundScan era and the only country artist in history to have a No. 1 song on Billboard's Nielsen BDS Hot 100 airplay chart.

Kellie Pickler Goes Bananas Over Halloween

Kellie PIcklerKellie Pickler was a dead-ringer for Dolly Parton Friday, as she dressed as her favorite country icon for a special Halloween episode of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.'

"Normally I have to work on Halloween. Even before '[American] Idol,' I always had to work on Halloween," Kellie told Ellen. "The last time I got to dress up for Halloween was when I worked at Sonic. I was Marliyn Monroe, and I about died that night! I almost got hit by a car, because I was a car hop. I don't know why they call it a car hop, because you don't really hop on the car, but I did that night. I about got backed into. We're roller skating and I never really learned how to use the little stopper on the [skates]."

Eric Durrance Marries in Romantic Sunset Ceremony

Eric DurranceEric Durrance is a married man. The country singer/songwriter tied the knot with Jennifer Weeks on Oct. 24, in a sunset ceremony on Eric's farm near Tallahassee, Fla.

"All in all, it was a perfect day," Eric tells the Nashville Country Music Examiner. "I can't wait to see what songs I write now. I've never felt so complete!"

Fans may be surprised by the Durrance's wedding announcement, as the couple kept their engagement under wraps. There was one clue, however, as Eric had recently uploaded a new song to his MySpace page called 'Once in a Lifetime (Jennifer's Song).' Eric serenaded his bride with that song at their wedding.

Anthony Smith Lets in the 'Sunshine'

Anthony Smith boasts songwriting credits on albums by the likes of Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, George Strait, Trace Adkins, Rascal Flatts and many more of country's biggest stars. But he's also a star in his own right, as the East Tennessee native is making his solo comeback with the new album, 'Sunshine,' on the newly-formed Stroudavarious record label.

"I have recorded something very special, and did so all in a very unique way. To explain that, I will have to take you back about a year and a half," Anthony writes on his website. "It all started when [producer/record label head] James Stroud and I were standing in the studio and he stuck out his hand and said, 'Anthony, I want to give you a record contract ... and here's the deal -- I want you to imagine your dream record, imagine an unlimited budget, then go make that record.' At that very moment it was on like Donkey Kong! What he had just said was a dream come true and the only reason I was in Nashville to begin with. I wasn't interested in making records, but in making masterpieces -- total works of art, like the kind that inspired me to play guitar and write songs as a kid. Well, fast forward to the present and, ladies and gentlemen, I think I have made that dream record!"
