'My First Ride,' a single by Ronnie Milsap featuring Trace Adkins, is having a bumpy ride these days, thanks to a cease and desist order from Capitol Records [Trace's label], claiming they had no knowledge of the song and further demanding the immediate halt of further promotion or sales of the tune.

Country Standard Time reports that BLEVE Records, the label releasing the song, is moving forward with the release in spite of legal action from Capitol Records. A statement from BLEVE Records reads: "These funds, which aid firefighters and police officers and their families after a disaster or in times of need due to injury or death in the line of duty, were severely depleted by 9/11 and recent devastating hurricanes."

Mindy McCready claims she has nothing to do with the leak of a racy home video featuring married actors Eric Dane ('Grey's Anatomy') and Rebecca Gayheart ('Nip/Tuck') with former beauty pageant queen Kari Ann Peniche.

"I did not want to be dragged into all of this," the troubled country singer tells 'Access Hollywood.' "I did not want to be a part of this."

Mindy and Kari Ann were roommates on the reality show, 'Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.' Kari Ann tells TMZ that she got into an argument with Mindy over money and that the singer retaliated by stealing the hard drive from her computer, which contained the home video. Mindy denies these claims and points the finger back at the beauty queen.

"She is evil personified, she is evil in human form," Mindy says of Kari Ann. "She will hurt anyone she can to make money."

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian may not be admitting to an affair, but they are no longer meeting in secret. The singer and actor, who met while co-starring in a made-for-TV movie, were spotted together Thursday playing golf in Valencia, Calif.

LeAnn and Eddie were first accused of having an affair back in March, after the two were caught together on what appeared to be romantic dates at a hotel and at two different restaurants. After both tried to mend their respective marriages, the infidelity rumors resurfaced in July, as the two were reportedly spotted together at the home of a longtime friend of LeAnn and her husband, Dean Sheremet.

LeAnn and Dean have been married for seven years. Eddie and his now estranged wife, Brandi Glanville, have also been married seven years and have two young sons. Brandi tells US Weekly that her soon-to-be-ex's "displays of poor taste have hurt our two children." She also calls Eddie a "compulsive liar, cheater, home wrecker and absentee father."

Police cracked down hard on alcohol offenders at Saturday's New England Country Music Festival in Foxboro, Mass., in an effort to prevent a tragedy similar to what happened at the event last year. More than 300 people were detained and more than 100 were arrested for public drunkenness, underage drinking or other alcohol-related rowdy behavior at the show, which featured Kenny Chesney, Sugarland and Lady Antebellum.

"The binge drinking is pretty significant," Foxboro Police Chief Ed O'Leary said. "Since people have started coming to the gates at [5:00 PM], we've had a rapid increase in the number of people we're taking into custody."

OK, gossip mongers -- men and women can just be friends. But the tabloids are all abuzz today with news that Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott was spotted out with Miley Cyrus' ex-boyfriend, former 'Nashville Star' contestant (and part-time underwear model) Justin Gaston. This photo was taken in West Hollywood Monday night, along with a few other photos. The two had also apparently been hanging out with 'American Idol' alum Chris Daughtry, who wrote on his Twitter page at 3:00 AM: "just did some quality hangin with Hilary of @ladyantebellum and @JustinMgaston ... very good peeps." Sounds innocent enough to us!

Eddie Cibrian's wife has left him, and she says LeAnn Rimes is to blame.

"Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart," Cibrian's wife of seven years, Brandi Glanville, tells Us Weekly magazine. "I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other."

Cibrian and Rimes were accused of having an affair back in March, after the two were caught together on what appeared to be romantic dates at a hotel and at two different restaurants. Us Weekly reports that the actor and country singer were caught again together last week outside outside the home of a longtime friend of Rimes and her husband, Dean Sheremet. Sources tell Us that the friend often lends his home to Rimes and Cibrian, so that the two can meet in private.

Jessica Simpson was dumped the day before her birthday, reports PEOPLE magazine. The pop turned country singer is said to be "heartbroken" over the end of her almost two-year relationship with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. The two reportedly broke up Thursday, the day before Jessica's 29th birthday.

"She loves Tony," a source tells PEOPLE. "But it's been difficult lately. He's busy with his career and she's getting ready to shoot her show ('The Price of Beauty'). They decided to part ways."
