Kellie Pickler Shuns the Five-Star Treatment

Kellie Pickler, who's currently on the Fearless tour with Taylor Swift, is seeing a lot of the US, but mostly from the back of a bus. And the irony of her "little house on wheels" isn't lost on the singer, who was raised in a North Carolina trailer park .

"Funny," Kellie tells OK! magazine. "As a child I thought, 'I'm going to be a big country star so I can get out of this damn trailer.' Then I go and get one. I mean it's a $1 million trailer but it's still a trailer."

And even though, with the success she's had, Kellie could certainly afford to stay in nice hotels along the way, she prefers to sleep on the bus, in a king-size bed, snuggling with her Chihuahua, Moo Moo.

Miranda Lambert Admits She 'Mobbed' Tammy Cochran

Miranda Lambert has become accustomed to crazy fan encounters and adoring admirers since she burst onto the country music scene four years ago. But she still remembers, with a hint of embarrassment, when she was on the other side of fame and met one of her idols.

"I completely mobbed Tammy Cochran and was freaking out," Miranda tells GAC. "It was during Fan Fair week. I was in Nashville with my parents, and I was the biggest gherm, groupie fan ever and would not shut up. She probably hates me to this day. She doesn't know it was me, though. I'm sure she doesn't remember. That was probably my stupidest moment!"

Rodney Atkins Makes New NASCAR Friends

It's hard to find a NASCAR fan who isn't also a country music fan. Rodney Atkins, who performed at the Food Lion Speedstreet 600 in May prior to the Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR race in Charlotte, N.C., tells The Boot that there is a big correlation between racing and country.

"I think the thing that ties us together are the people who follow the sport," he says. "We played the Speedstreet event and over 10,000 people came out to see us play. They were consistent with a country music crowd; they are the same kind of folks."

Reba Reveals the One Man Who Made Her Starstruck

By 1988, country superstar Reba McEntire had already scored a dozen No. 1 country songs and had been named CMA Female Vocalist four years in a row. Fans were clamoring to meet her and to get an autograph, but the singer took it all in stride, which she continues to do to this day.

"People always come up for a picture or autograph and say, 'I hate to bother you and I know you're busy,'" Reba tells GAC. "But I love talking with the fans."

And it was in 1988 that a close encounter with one of her own idols, acting legend Jimmy Stewart ('It's a Wonderful Life'), found Reba echoing those familiar words she frequently hears from fans.

Keith Urban Grateful for Lessons From the Bar

Keith Urban got his start in the music business the way almost every artist before him did, by singing and playing guitar in a local bar. But now that more and more bars and clubs are using recorded music to cut down on costs, Keith realizes he may be part of a dying breed.

"It's a tragedy," he tells The Daily Telegraph. "Where do people hone their craft? The only way to do that is to be in the clubs night after night, so by the time you get your record deal, you're rockin'! Bands are now thrown together by a few high-school buddies, who land a record deal or go on 'American Idol.' Then they're playing to all these people and have no clue how to do it."

Taylor Swift Reveals Rebellious Side

Taylor Swift may seem to have a squeaky clean image, but she admits she does have a rebellious side, even if it isn't like most teenagers. "It's true that I've never had a burning desire to rebel against my parents," she admits in Britain's Seven magazine.

But the 19-year-old superstar does seem to enjoy reliving the moments of when she has forced her own way, especially since it ultimately worked in her favor. "I rebelled against my record label when they wanted to shelve me, and I've rebelled against people trying to push me around in the recording studio," she says.

Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks Reveal 'Dancing' Favorite

During a recent night out at the trendy L.A. sushi restaurant Koi, Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough were stopped by paparazzi and questioned on a number of subjects. In a YouTube video by Hollywood.tv, the couple share the not-so-surprising revelation that they're rooting for Ty Murray to make it to the 'Dancing with the Stars' finals.

"If Ty won, that would be awesome," says Chuck. "He's the last country boy left."

Asked to name the best thing about being teamed up on the show, Chuck says the experience helped the pair learn much more about each other, leading Julianne to joke that what Chuck discovered about her was "I'm crazy and I'm a dictator!"
