Luke Bryan Goes Metal!

When you go to a Luke Bryan concert, you're guaranteed to hear the Georgia native perform his down home country hits like 'All My Friends Say,' 'We Rode in Trucks' and 'Country Man.' But you also might do a little headbanging.

Luke has been known to throw a taste of metal into his live show, surprising his audience with a cover of Metallica's 'Enter Sandman.'

"It's a little out there! I hope [Metallica's] James Hetfield doesn't gun me down one day," Luke told The Boot with a laugh, after we saw him perform 'Sandman' at a recent show in Nashville. "I think it adds excitement to the show. The fans seem to love it, and they're singing right along."

Watch Luke perform 'All My Friends Say' and 'Enter Sandman' after the jump.

Darius Rucker Talks 'Bromance' With Dierks Bentley

It didn't take much for Darius Rucker to convince Dierks Bentley to perform with him at the upcoming Homegrown Concert in his hometown of Charleston, S.C.

"He's one of my best friends in country music and one of the nicest people in the world ... We text all the time," Darius told Charleston's WEZL radio of buddy Dierks. "I asked him about this concert and he said, without hesitation, yes. We even changed the date on him and he said he didn't care. He's just the best."

The morning show guys at WEZL poked fun at Darius for gushing so much about his Capitol Records labelmate. And it turns out, they're not the only ones laughing at the singers' friendship.

Jimmy Wayne's Twittering Brings Both Triumph and Trouble

Jimmy Wayne fans know where their favorite singer is at almost any given time of day. All they have to do is follow him on Twitter.

"I want to bring fans closer into where I am on the road," Jimmy tells The Boot of his religious Tweeting. "Sometimes I'm in an airport lying on the floor, and I'm like, 'Oh you gotta see this.' So I send it out over my phone and it reaches everybody all over the world. No matter where they are, they can be with you -- it's fun!"

Jason Michael Carroll Falls for His Fans

Jason Michael Carroll says his fans have taught him not to take himself too seriously.

"My fans continuously crack me up," he tells The Boot. "Like if I fall down at one show onstage at a show in Florida, we'll go to Pennsylvania the next night and that fan will be there with a sign that says, 'Don't trip over your two left feet!' ... If you can't laugh at yourself, you shouldn't be out here."

Sometimes those laughs come courtesy of pranks, not accidents. Take, for instance, one night on the road with Brooks & Dunn.

Randy Houser Explains 'Granny Beads'

When Randy Houser goes out with his 'boots on,' he also sports a 'dirty ole hat,' a 'crooked little grin' and a 'granny beaded neck' ... A what?

"When I was a kid, we always had big gardens, acres of stuff we grew out in the yard," Randy explains to The Boot of the inspiration behind his 'Boots On' lyrics. "Well my grandma would always come work [in the gardens] ... Granny beads are what they're called when a grandma works the garden all day -- you always see them -- they have a handkerchief around their neck with a lot of dust on them, and then the sweat will go down and make these black beads of sweat and dirt around their neck. And that's what they call granny beads."
