Tim McGraw Shoves Rowdy Fan

It was Tim McGraw versus an unruly fan right in the middle of 'Indian Outlaw' Tuesday night at the White River Amphitheater in Auburn, Wash. During McGraw's performance of his 1994 hit, he spotted a man in the audience getting reckless. So, with a little help from his crew, he pulled the man on stage and then shoved him. The man went after McGraw with a clinched fist, and both threatened to throw punches. McGraw's rep says the country star was only trying to protect a lady in the front row.

"While Tim was performing . . . he watched a man rush to the front of the stage," the rep told TMZ. "This overly aggressive fan attacked a female fan and Tim witnessed this incident. Tim called for security, but when they could not respond quick enough, Tim and several crew members removed the fan from the audience, then turned over to the local authorities."

Watch video footage of the incident after the jump.

Source Claims Shania Twain's Husband Cheated

Music producer Robert "Mutt" Lange is being accused of cheating on his superstar wife, Shania Twain. Sources tell PEOPLE magazine that the reason for the couple's split after 14 years of marriage was Lange's relationship with another woman.

Lange gave PEOPLE a very simple reason for the split, calling it "literally just a growing apart, that's all," he said. But sources allegedly close to the couple say infidelity is the real reason, claiming Lange had an affair with Marie-Anne Thiébaud, a secretary and manager of the couple's chateau in Switzerland.

"Mutt and Marie-Anne left their spouses for each other and are still in a relationship," says one source.

Another source says Twain is "devastated. This came out of left field . . . She loved him."

Lange is denying the alleged affair. "It's absolutely not the reason [for the separation]," he told PEOPLE. "It's not true."

Twain and Lange married in 1993. They have a 6-year-old son, Eja.

Dolly Parton Peeved at Howard Stern

Dolly Parton has fired back at Howard Stern, in response to a bit that the shock-jock aired earlier this month on his Sirius satellite radio show. According to Parton, Stern's show used elements from her audiobook to electronically manipulate her speaking voice, creating "racist and sexually vulgar statements." The outraged singer hinted that a lawsuit might be forthcoming as a result of the comedic bit.

"I have never been so shocked, hurt and humiliated in all my life," Parton said in a statement. "I cannot believe what Howard Stern has done to me. In a blue million years, I would never have such vulgar things come out of my mouth."

"They have done editing or some sort of trickery to make this horrible, horrible thing," the legendary singer-songwriter continued. "Please accept my apology for them and certainly know I had nothing to do with this. If there was ever going to be a lawsuit, it's going to be over this. Just wanted you to know that I am completely devastated by this."

Stern's 'anything-goes' broadcast is notorious for such vocal manipulations. The use of the phony celebrity sound-clips are often used in prank phone calls that air on the show.

John Rich Disses 'American Idol'

Big & Rich's John Rich has a bone to pick with 'American Idol.' During a press event in Pasadena, Calif., Rich ranted about a recent flub by 'Idol' judge Paula Abdul.

"'American Idol' infuriates me as an artist," he told reporters. "They're being fake about it. When you can't make a cognizant comment about someone's performance and you're commenting on something that happened the day before, why don't you just walk up on stage and slap them right across the face while you're at it? As an artist, I would just flip them the bird and walk off the stage. She wasn't even paying attention to what was going on."

Toby Keith Concert Interrupted By Mortar Fire

Toby Keith literally came under fire while performing for 2500 American soldiers in Afghanistan last week. Keith is in the Persian Gulf for his 18-show USO tour. He was on stage in the middle of a concert in Kandahar, Afghanistan on Thursday when the base was attacked by mortar fire.

"We all ran about 100 yards to a concrete bunker," one witness at the scene told PEOPLE magazine.

Keith spent about an hour hiding out with soldiers in the bunker, signing autographs and posing for pictures until they were given the all-clear. In spite of being strongly advised by a coalition MP to not resume the show, Keith picked up right where he'd left off, in the middle of his song, 'Weed With Willie.'

"He went right to the verse he was in and finished his show!" said another witness.

Mindy McCready Confirms Affair With Roger Clemens

"I cannot refute anything in the story," Mindy McCready told the New York Daily News last night, just one day after the paper printed an explosive article accusing the country singer of having a decade-long affair with baseball star Roger Clemens. "Yes, I have known Roger Clemens for a long time," she continued, reading from a prepared statement. "He's a kind and caring man."

The New York Daily News reports that the two met in a Florida karaoke bar when McCready was a 15-year-old aspiring singer and Clemens was a 28-year-old Boston Red Sox pitcher, and also a married father of two children. Sources told the paper that a friendship ensued but that a sexual relationship did not begin until later, when McCready moved to Nashville to pursue her country music career.

Mindy McCready Accused of Affair With Baseball Star

Mindy McCready is facing more bad publicity. The fallen country star is now being accused of carrying on a 10-year affair with married baseball star Roger Clemens.

According to the New York Daily News, the affair began when McCready was just 15-years-old. The two reportedly met when Clemens, then 28, and several of his Boston Red Sox teammates saw the aspiring singer perform at a karaoke bar. A friendship ensued, and McCready could often be seen sitting behind home plate during games. She also allegedly traveled on Clemens' private plane, sometimes with his wife.

McCready's lawyer is refusing to comment on the matter. Clemens lawyer, Rusty Hardin, verifies the relationship but insists that it was and is strictly platonic.

Willie Nelson Duets With Snoop Dogg

Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg are mixing work with play in Amsterdam. The country icon and rap superstar recorded a song and video there together on Sunday. And if you're wondering what those two have in common, well Sunday just happened to be April 20 -- "4/20" -- a self-proclaimed holiday for marijuana advocates.

Nelson and Snoop followed their recording session with a surprise performance together Sunday at Amsterdam's Melkweg concert hall. You can see pictures from the show here.

Nelson's granddaugher, Martha, and her two friends are blogging from Amsterdam about the experience. They say Nelson and Snoop have become good friends across the pond, writing that they met the rapper in Nelson's hotel room.

"And there – believe it or not – was the one and only Snoop Dogg with his entourage 'in da house,' playing dominoes with Willie and watching Willie do some pretty incredible card tricks," they write on the blog.

Miranda Lambert Involved in Alleged Bar Brawl

Get ready for a case of she said--she said. A woman is accusing Miranda Lambert of assaulting her at a nightclub in Tyler, Texas. Lambert was at the Bootleggers club on Saturday to support her friend, Adam Hood, who was having a CD release party there. Police say the alleged brawl occurred after the woman asked the country star for a photograph.

"The victim called us yesterday and we took the report over the phone," County Sheriff Lieutenant Larry Winginton told the Tyler Morning Telegraph. "There were not any injuries that I know of. Basically, she said she wanted to get her picture with Miranda and that Miranda pushed or shoved her a couple of times. She said she wanted to file a case against Miranda for assault, but that's all we know at this time."

Ryan Adams Slams Country Music Mecca

Don't call Ryan Adams a country star. The singer-songwriter is often described as 'alt-country' or 'country-rock,' but in actuality, he despises country music.

"I hate HATE country music. I always have," Adams writes on his blog. "I 'reference' it when I make music that sounds like that, the way a director would use water as a backdrop for a scene with a shark in it. But I cannot stand country music one bit."

Adams goes on to complain about the way he was treated at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium, referring to his concert there several years ago when he infamously stopped the show to ask a heckler to leave.

Tim McGraw and Keith Urban Bank More Than Their Wives

Tim McGraw and Keith Urban are the major breadwinners in their respective households, according to a recent issue of PEOPLE magazine. The article examined the 2007 incomes of several celebrity power couples and found that two of the reigning male country music stars are earning bigger paychecks than their famous wives.

McGraw's $70 million paycheck, from sales of his platinum album 'Let It Go' and from the Soul 2 Soul Tour, beat wife Faith Hill's $49 million that she made from the same tour and from her album sales. Urban made $35 million, also from album sales and touring, narrowly beating out the $32 million his movie-star wife, Nicole Kidman, earned from movies and endorsements.

Kellie Pickler Is Learning to Stay Mum

Choosing your words wisely is sometimes a hard lesson to learn, and it's one Kellie Pickler is trying her best to master. The 'American Idol' alum has talked publicly in the past about hardships in her family and love life. And she says that has resulted in some awkward fan encounters.

"Random people in a grocery store will come up and tell me what I should do: 'Oh, you should have left him a long time ago.' It's weird . . . they don't know anything but a paragraph they read in the paper," says Pickler. "I have to keep my big mouth shut about anything personal."

But, old habits die hard. The 21-year-old singer broke her new rule last week on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.' When asked about her love life, she disclosed that, against her reservations, she's dating someone in the music business.

Carrie Underwood and Chace Crawford Split Via Texts

That's right! Carrie Underwood admitted to 'Extra' that she and Chace Crawford ended their highly-publicized relationship through text messaging, saying, "We broke up over text so . . . it's like 'peace out.'"

Underwood assured fans that there were no tears and that she's doing just fine. In fact, she says the breakup was completely mutual.

"It just didn't work. We both knew it didn't work and [had] no hard feelings at all whatsoever."

It seems, however, that the 'Gossip Girl' hottie had a much harder time dealing with the loss of his country beauty. Crawford's sister told PEOPLE that her brother "was upset about the breakup."

Dixie Chicks and Toby Keith: Ready to Make Nice?

Are these former enemies now frenemies? The Dixie Chicks and Toby Keith are teaming up for a good cause, and the person bringing them together is none other than Al Gore.

The Chicks and Keith are set to appear together in a commercial for the Alliance for Climate Protection. It's a cause championed by the former Vice President, who designed an ad campaign featuring strange bedfellows such as the aforementioned feuding country stars, Democrat Nancy Pelosi with Republican Newt Gingrich, and the Reverend Al Sharpton with the Reverend Pat Robertson -- all pairs who've traded jabs in the past. Gore's goal is to prove that climate change is not a partisan issue.

Miranda Lambert 'Terrifies' Esquire

Miranda Lambert has been named 'Terrifying Woman of the Year' by Esquire magazine in its annual Esky Music Awards. The publication notes Lambert's latest single, 'Gunpowder and Lead,' saying, "Her voice balances raucousness and tenderness so perfectly, it's tough to tell where the insanely violent characters begin and the real Miranda Lambert leaves off."

Sure, the song is about a feisty woman with a loaded shotgun. But Lambert told us it was actually inspired by sad, real-life experiences.

"When I was younger, my parents took in abused women and their kids," she told us in a recent interview. "It's meant to be taken light-hearted in some aspects. But it's also very real to me, because I saw first-hand what damage it can do to a family to be in an abusive relationship."

Lambert also says she's tried to soften her image with autobiographical ballads like 'Desperation' and 'More Like Her' on her 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend' album.
