1. "Southern Comfort Zone" - Brad Paisley (Songwriters: Chris DuBois, Kelley Lovelace & Brad Paisley)
C Flanigan, FilmMagic
Brad shook things up in 2012 by leaving his own comfort zone and producing his new album in a new home studio. So it's fitting that on the record's debut track, "Southern Comfort Zone," he tackled the rigidity of stereotypes and emphasized the importance of expanding one's horizons whenever possible. The tune managed to embrace Southern culture and all things South of the Mason Dixon while also challenging Southerners to broaden their scope and open their minds at the same time. We give him extra points for working both Billy Graham and Martha White into the same song.
