Also located in the heart of Music City, Vanderbilt University boasts many famous alums, including the "5-1-5-0" singer, who admittedly chose the school because of its location in the capital of country music. Currently ranked in the Top 20 among national universities, Vandy boasts an average student SAT score of around 1400. Other musicians who have this private university on their résumés include Rosanne Cash, Amy Grant, Dinah Shore and Randy Brooks, who wrote the oh-so-brilliant song, "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer."
