Garth Brooks: Oklahoma State University, Class of 1985

In 1985, a young man who would go on to sell more than 200 million albums graduated from OSU with a degree in advertising. Four years later, Garth released his self-titled debut album that has since been certified Diamond by the RIAA, for sales exceeding 10 million units. In May 2011, the superstar surprised students at his alma mater's commencement ceremony when he crossed the stage to pick up his own Master's of Business Administration degree, 26 years after leaving the university.
