Kix Brooks: Louisiana Tech University, Class of 1978

At age 57, this country music icon is going back to his educational roots. Kix was a theatre arts major at Louisiana Tech, where he honed his acting skills in several student plays. Fast forward past 20 award-winning, multi-platinum-selling years as one-half of the country duo Brooks & Dunn, and now Kix is returning to acting. In addition to his new solo singing career and successful Tennessee vineyard, the multi-talented star is building his acting resume with roles in "Thriftstore Cowboy," "The Last Ride" and at least two more movies on the horizon. He's also the executive producer on the upcoming holiday film, "Saving Santa."
