Trace has been happily married to his third wife, Rhonda, since 1997, but he wasn’t always so lucky in love. In 1994, his second wife, Julie, shot him in the chest during a domestic dispute. The bullet went through both lungs and his heart. Even though the couple divorced after the incident, Trace declined to press charges against his now ex-wife.
