Miley Cyrus Stays Family Focused

There's no doubt as to what Miley Cyrus' top priority in life is: her family. Whether the 16-year-old superstar is singing with her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, on stage, or taking tips from Tish, her manager/mother, she's thrilled to have her parents around her. Miley points out that the great thing about working with her family is that they always have her best interests at heart.

"The great thing for me is I work with Dad and my mom is my manager, so you can't have anyone else who cares about you more," she says. "There are always ulterior motives when it's someone else. But with family it's genuinely for you."

Billy Ray Cyrus Thrills in 'Tennessee'

Billy Ray Cyrus is going back to his roots. The singer/actor released his new album, 'Back to Tennessee,' this week. The title aptly reflects Cyrus' heart these days, having had to relocate his family in 2006 to Los Angeles to star alongside superstar daughter Miley in the Disney TV series, 'Hannah Montana.'

The Boot caught up with Cyrus at the AOL studios in Beverly Hills during a whirlwind media tour for his new album and new 'Hannah Montana' movie. After a little personal chit chat about plans to reinstate his mullet this summer (seriously!), we got down to the business of talking about 'Tennessee.'

'Back to Tennessee' is such a fitting title for you, given that you've stayed true to yourself amidst the craziness of Hollywood.

My dad was right -- life is a journey and you have to always be aware of where you're at, where you're going, but most importantly, never forget where you come from. That becomes a part of who you are. The song is very autobiographical of my life, my journey, where I've been, where I'm at, where I'm going.

Taylor Swift to Duet With Miley Cyrus

Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus have just been announced as duet partners on Sunday night's Grammy Awards telecast. The titanic teen twosome will perform 'Fifteen,' a song written by Swift.

"We were trying to figure out different things that would be cool," Swift tells E! News. "We all kind of agreed, 'Wouldn't it be cool if Miley was up there too and we're singing together?' And we're excited about it."

The 16-year-old Cyrus called Swift's lyrics "very inspiring," saying that they hit close to home for her, adding, "This song is perfect for the Grammys."

Miley Cyrus Spotted With 'Nashville Star' Heartthrob

Aspiring country singer Justin Gaston plays the leading man in Taylor Swift's new video, 'Love Story,' but another young superstar the former 'Nashville Star' contestant has been hanging out with in Los Angeles really has the rumor mill churning.

Gaston, 20, was photographed with 15-year-old Miley Cyrus and her family as they attended church in Pasadena, Calif., before heading to Disney's Concert for Hope, where Miley performed. The two were spotted again Tuesday having lunch with Miley's mom Tish and older sister Brandi.

Miley Cyrus Helps Dolly Parton Find New Fans

Dolly Parton is no doubt a country music icon, with more than 75 albums, 25 No. 1 singles and countless Grammies, CMAs and other awards to her name. But to her newest fans, she's just 'Aunt Dolly.'

Parton's reoccurring role as Miley Cyrus' aunt on the wildly popular 'Hannah Montana' show has gained her a younger fan base. It's a newfound fame she's getting a big kick out of.

"I'm not a singer. I'm not a writer. I'm not a movie star. It's got nothing to do with me ... I'm famous now 'cause I'm Hannah Montana's Aunt Dolly," says Parton. "Little kids see me in the street and just point, 'Aunt Dolly!' or 'Hi, Aunt Dolly!' and it's just been so cute."

Off-screen, Parton is Cyrus' godmother. She calls the teenager a "little Elvis" and brags on Cyrus' mature songwriting skills in our candid Q&A with the star.
