Sony/ATV Music Publishing is shining the spotlight on aspiring singer-songwriters. The company has launched a new "Nashville Guitars and Bars" program, showcasing up-and-coming artists, while bringing a truly Nashville experience to fans in other cities -- for free! Beginning in January, two songwriter-artists per month will perform at The Tin Roof bar and restaurant locations in Cincinnati, Ohio, Louisville, Ky., Indianapolis, Ind., and Lexington, Ky.

Singer/songwriters Cheryl LuQuire (pictured above) and Joey Hyde will kick-off the program Jan. 22 in Cincinatti, with a show in Louisville the next day, Indianapolis on Jan. 29 and Lexington on Jan. 30. In February, two different artists (to be announced soon) will travel between the four cities.

"These events will allow our new artists to build their road chops, develop their fan base, and do what they do best – entertain music lovers," says Troy Tomlinson, Sony/ATV Music Publishing's President/CEO. "Fans will get to discover and connect in an intimate setting with artists who will one day take home our industry's biggest awards."
